About Us

For our family, meals have always been a time for gathering to celebrate and share life. We have a commercial printing background and have been making photo placemats to celebrate special birthdays, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day for many years. As our parents aged, we realized the placemats were a wonderful gift and a way to connect and bond with them. We know firsthand how the placemats spark their memories, and we see the twinkle in their eyes and soft smiles as they point out the names and faces of their family and friends. It gives our parents a way to keep up with family that they do not see often and reminds them of the wonderful memories they shared when they were together.  

Especially for seniors, familiar photos and stories can bring reassurance, reduce feelings of isolation, and spark conversations. We have found that the personalized placemats provide visitors and caregivers with a quick way to build a relationship with them.  When one parent was in the hospital, the rotating staff could use the placemat to start conversations, connect and provide some familiarity in a very unfamiliar place.

Our parents love seeing themselves throughout the years, as we include photos from when they were very young with their parents and siblings.
